Charlie Kirk’s message regarding financial pressure placed on him by those who wanted him to support Netanyahu’s policies, right or wrong, was publicized by Candace Owens on her Monday YouTube podcast Oct. 6. The next day, a spokesman for Turning Point USA, Andrew Kolvet, stepped up and confirmed Owens’ report.
On Sept. 8, two days before being assassinated on Sept. 10, Kirk had written, in a private chat with “people in the government,” of his refusal to yield to pressure to cancel another appearance of Tucker Carlson. The message read: “I just lost another huge Jewish donor. $2 million a year because we won’t cancel Tucker.” Then, in a second message, he wrote that he had “no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause.”
