FBI Director Kash Patel reported to Fox News on Sunday, Oct. 19, that the Secret Service (USSS) had found a “hunting stand” with a direct line of sight to President Donald Trump’s Air Force One exit area at the Palm Beach International Airport. The FBI is now leading the investigation with the USSS and Palm Beach County law enforcement. No individuals were seen or had been connected to the elevated stand as of yesterday, Patel said.
The stand, perched on the branch of a tree, appears to have been set up “months ago,” an unidentified law enforcement source told Fox, but according to USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi, agents discovered the stand on Thursday, Oct. 16, during their “advance security preparations” prior to Trump’s arrival in Palm Beach.
