The head of a task force in a German auto supplier told the German business daily Handelsblatt that, due to the Nexperia chips blockade, “If there is no political solution, the supply chain will completely break down in November.”
Honda has already reduced or suspended production at some of its manufacturing facilities. Production volumes have been halved at its Canadian plant, and production in Mexico has been partially shut down.
