Former Mossad Chief Boasts of Global Sabotage/Espionage Network

Israel’s September 2024 pager attack on Hezbollah was not a one-off that can’t be deployed again. It’s a capability that “in all countries you can imagine” whenever Israel decides it needs to do so. Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen has bragged that Israel has deployed a global sabotage and espionage network which uses “booby-trapped and spy-manipulated equipment,” according to a report posted by Middle East Monitor on Oct. 30.

In a video that’s now circulating on social media, Cohen is reported to be seen speaking on “The Brink” podcast hosted by Jake Wallis Simons, former editor of the Jewish Chronicle. He detailed the covert program Israel has planted across the globe and claimed personal credit for inventing the “pager method” during his tenure at Mossad’s Special Operations division between 2002 and 2004.
