After crippling missile and drone attacks have nearly destroyed its energy infrastructure over the recent weeks, Ukraine has potentially secured some slight relief with new gas deliveries for the winter. In a deal announced Sunday, Nov. 16, during a visit to Athens by acting President Zelenskyy, Greece has agreed to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Ukraine from December through to March next year. The shipments will be U.S. LNG, and will arrive via a pipeline that runs across the Balkan peninsula, reported Reuters.
