Kremlin Aide Remains Optimistic About U.S.-Russia Friendship

Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov, in a Nov. 16 interview with Pavel Zarubin, said that U.S.-Russia contact is continuing, and that “We are proactively talking on the settlement in Ukraine.” He remained optimistic that another in-person meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump can be agreed upon, despite the cancellation of the Budapest meeting.
