Marjorie Taylor Greene Defends Herself in the Wake of Attacks by Trump

The fiery debate amongst MAGA’s leading proponents on the one side, and President Donald Trump, along with many of his hawkish advisors on the other, continues to heat up. The latest drama in this is, of course, Georgian Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, whom Trump attacked viciously in a series of Truth Social posts over the recent days, even going so far as to call her a “traitor” and demanding for another Republican to oust her in the next primary elections. Greene, however, has doubled down on her stances and criticism of Trump’s current compromised state.

In a lengthy X post on Nov. 15, Greene attacked the “toxic political industrial complex” which aims to divide the American people rather than help to unite them. “We can have our own differences and differing opinions but we can still love and respect one another. We have far more in common than we have apart.” In an CNN interview on Sunday, Nov. 16, Greene said that she still supports Trump and the promises he made to the American people, but warned that his decision to label her a “traitor” could radicalize Americans and put her life in danger. She otherwise said she forgave Trump for his mistakes and hopes they can make up in the future.
