Marjorie Taylor Greene Resigns from Congress

On Nov. 21 Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene issued a letter of resignation explaining that she always promoted an “America First” policy which she considered to represent the “common” American man and woman. She addressed many economic insecurity issues. She wrote about the declining standard of living, the falling value of the dollar, small businesses being swallowed by large corporations, and the fact that a family can no longer survive on a single paycheck. But Americans are faced with high credit card debt, soaring prices for food and other basics, college degrees that leave people in debt, and asset managers out-bid families trying to buy a home.

Greene has recently been pummeled by President Donald Trump and called a “traitor,” to which she wrote: “I refuse to be a ‘battered wife,’ hoping it all goes away and gets better.”

She wrote that a “Political-Industrial Complex” has been abusing citizens, manipulating one party to hate the other and ripping the country apart. She says that MAGA is now casting her aside, but warns that what will replace her will be tied to the neocons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, the military-industrial war complex, foreign leaders, and the elite donor class who cannot even relate to common Americans.

Recently Greene has been the face of the GOP opposition to Trump on the issue of the Epstein files. Greene was also critical of the bombing of Iran, the unconditional support and arming of Israel, and she was the first Republican to describe the slaughter of civilians in Gaza as a “genocide.”
