Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu rejected the premise of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Nov. 1 post, threatening to go into Nigeria “guns-a-blazing” unless the government stops “allow[ing] the killing of Christians” and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s response the same day, stating that “The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria—and anywhere—must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action.”
