The French Solidarité et Progrès party opened its international two-day conference on Nov. 8-9 in Paris under the theme: “Respond to the Cry of the People,” on Saturday morning, Nov 8. Panel moderator Sébastien Périmony called on people not to accept the world as it is, but to fight for its substantial improvement. He introduced the first speaker, Jacques Cheminade, as having already changed France through his three Presidential campaigns (1995, 2012, and 2017.) Cheminade spoke on the theme, “Time To Change Your Thinking,” as something crucial to pull the world out of the financial-economic collapse crisis and the threat of nuclear war. Geopolitics is based on the ideology of enmity between two positions, this is going back to Aristotle, as does the fake concept of evil and good being part of the same—this is wrong: Evil only grows in the absence of the good; the growth of the good removes evil. This conference is designed to catalyze not only France, but also the world, which needs leaders who see things with the eyes of the future. Seen with the eyes of the present, with 12,000 nuclear warheads that could be fired at the slightest warning, there is not much hope; but the problems can not, as Einstein said, be solved in the terms or on the level at which the problems were posed. The solution has to come from a change of thinking.
A new paradigm is building that gives hope, with leaders like Putin, Lula, Xi, who are building it through the BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Group of 77; the new paradigm is based on the development of humanity defying all pre-established protocols. It is based on the courage of sovereign individuals not to allow automatisms that will only lead to catastrophe, like the two Russians and one American who decided, in 1962 and 1983, not to obey the “red alert” automatic mechanisms that would have triggered an imminent nuclear strike. A human error would have triggered nuclear war already then, but the greatest human error would have been a lack of courage to think in opposition to the procedures. Threatened by geopolitical automatisms today, nuclear war can only be prevented by initiatives like those discussed in the International Peace Coalition, by new concepts outside of those that are being offered by institutions whose incompetence has driven the world to where it is right now. The dominant ideology claiming that there is incompatibility of contradictory things must be replaced by the coincidence of opposites—as Cusa formulated it 600 years ago, and Helga Zepp-LaRouche has done it in the past 40 years.
A “higher hypothesis” is required for a new way of thinking. This does not come through Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is useful for some applications, but is not a substitute for creative thinking by creative human minds. AI is used to indoctrinate people, particularly the young generation, making them dependent, and degrading them to lower levels than their potential deserves. The use of AI in the military sphere can create enormous problems for mankind, if AI tells you “go to war.” It is similar with AI being wrongly used in the economic-financial sphere, for financial profit alone, turning the latter into an ever-hungry machine, a Great Deadly Game, ignorant of what mankind needs to be human. Present-day leaders in politics and finances are like Icarus, trying to get to the Sun of power with unfit devices that will only destroy mankind, destroying themselves in the same process. This is what Lyndon LaRouche addressed with his “Triple Curve.”
What the world needs, instead, is the flow of resources, not into bubbles, but into great projects—Bering Strait Tunnel, Kra Canal, Lake Chad, Inga Dam, Messina Bridge, Oasis Plan—that are based on constructive creativity improving human life. Look at what China has achieved in just 30 years. Mobilize like never before, hard work can achieve anything.
Two questions were posed to Cheminade after his presentation: 1) Why did the oligarchy not want him? and 2) What about the cryptocurrency? In his response to 1, Cheminade explained that the oligarchy was cheating to fix the presidency of its candidates and considered Cheminade an “unknown troublemaker.” Even the FBI intervened, telling the French to go against him because he supported LaRouche. As for question 2, Cheminade laid out that crypto is an invention of the dollar system, to keep the system going by using methods that were leading to the system’s collapse (and still do).
