After the Shanghai Cooperation Organization heads of government meeting in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Putin emphasized, “The comprehensive Russian-Chinese relations of partnership and strategic interaction, having entered a new era, are truly experiencing the best period in their history.” He also said that China-Russia trade has reached the highest level in its history. “It is essential to safeguard our trade and economic collaboration from adverse external influences,” Putin noted.
