COPENHAGEN, Nov. 18, 2025 (EIRNS)—Ahmed Abu Amsha, the coordinator of the Gaza section of the Edward Said National Institute of Music, issued an appeal for all musicians to tune to A=432 Hz to stand with Palestine, in a Facebook reel with 102,000 views [date unknown]. This is the tuning of the universe and nature, he said, and is needed to get back our humanity.

In the text accompanying the video, he wrote: “I carry peace on the strings of my instrument [the guitar]. I teach music in the midst of destruction, because I believe that art is life, and it is our voice in this destruction. At this point, we decided to tune a dozen of our instruments to 432 Hz, as a symbolic ... with the people of Gaza, and all musicians living under bombardment.... Stand with us. Let’s keep music alive, against all odds.” He called on musicians not only to tune to 432 Hz, but also to announce during concerts that they were doing so in order to stand with Palestine.
