U.S. Test Fires ICBM

Early this morning, Nov. 5, 2025, the U.S. Air Force test launched a Minuteman III ICBM from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California to the Ronald Reagan Test Site in the Marshall Islands, some 4,200 miles away. The launch and test flight “evaluated the ongoing reliability, operational readiness, and accuracy of the ICBM system, a cornerstone of America’s national defense,” the Vandenberg press office said in a statement issued at 01:35 a.m. Pacific Time on Nov. 5.
