On Sunday, Nov. 16, the USS Gerald R. Ford, the largest and most advanced aircraft carrier of the U.S. Navy, arrived in the Caribbean. The Ford Carrier Strike Group has a mission “to support the President’s directive to dismantle transnational criminal organizations and counter narco-terrorism in defense of the homeland,” according to a statement from Carrier Strike Group 12, reported U.S. Naval Institute News.
