Facing the genuine declaration of war on the EU contained in the US NSS 2025, Eurocrats are reacting with a flight forward, i.e. calling for more EU, more rearmament etc. A blue ribbon Eurocrat, former Commission head Romano Prodi, went so far as to acknowledge the death of NATO in an interview with Raitre television program “Agorà” Dec. 10.
The new NSS envisions “a world in which two or three rule and the others should not get on their nerves (non rompono le scatole).” “If one is consistent with what Trump says, NATO is reduced to nothing. So far, NATO has been the USA.” It is no longer an “alliance” and therefore it “must be challenged.”
