Lavrov Calls Out EU, NATO Support of Kiev Regime's Crimes

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov issued a statement on Dec. 30 thanking the foreign friends and partners of the Russian Federation for condemning the Dec. 28–29 attack carried out by Kiev against the Presidential residence in Novgorod. “The incident has re-affirmed the terrorist nature of the group of individuals who are unlawfully holding power in Kiev,” the statement reads. Lavrov calls out “those in the EU and NATO who loudly demand ‘ironclad’ guarantees for Ukraine’s security as part of the negotiated settlement process led by Russia and the United States,” stating that “There is no doubt that the main goal of Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and London is to preserve the regime that dreams of being helped to survive,” and preserving a territory which continues to outlaw the Russian language and cultivate Nazi ideology and practice.
