Peskov Asserts, Real Dialogue Is Welcome, Western Lecturing Is Not

Commenting on Western media claims about a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron, on Dec. 21 Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized that President Putin remains open to dialogue with his French counterpart. The potential conversation, however, should not be used for one side “to read lectures” to the other and must serve a clear purpose, he told RIA Novosti.
