Vaccine Experts’ Report Refutes RFK's Advisory Panel

On Dec. 2 experts from the Vaccine Integrity Project released a report to refute the baseless claims by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his hand-picked members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). The report includes data from more than 400 studies and other reports and is issued just days before the Dec. 4-5 ACIP meeting. Later this week ACIP is expected to vote to remove a recommendation for hepatitis B vaccinations for infants at birth. The authors of the report wrote: “The totality of evidence—epidemiologic, clinical, and operational—supports maintaining universal hepatitis B vaccination within 24 hours of birth for all medically stable infants.”
