Slovakian President: Accelerate Ukraine Peace Process

Slovakian President Peter Pellegrini said yesterday that European aid to Ukraine only prolongs the war, and that Europe should instead, “accelerate and support U.S. efforts so that their representatives can sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin as soon as possible and end the fighting.” Large sums of money should be spent on Ukrainian reconstruction and the restoration of electrical infrastructure, he said, further emphasizing that Slovakia’s position is that the world is multipolar.
