Zepp-LaRouche Tells China’s CCTV, the U.S. Venezuela Action Could Plunge the Continent into Turmoil

China’s CCTV News interviewed Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche on Jan. 4, and a summary of her presentation appeared in a Global Times News article, “German Think Tank Expert: U.S. Military Action Disregards International Law and Will Lead to Regional Instability.”. They wrote (in translation):

“In response to the U.S. attack on Venezuela, [Helga] LaRouche, Chairman and Founder of the Schiller Institute, a German think tank, stated in an interview with a reporter from China Central Television that Venezuela is a sovereign state, and [Nicolás] Maduro is the president elected by the Venezuelan people. ‘The U.S. actions of forcibly taking control of Venezuela and removing [the President] from the country, completely disregards international law and could trigger instability throughout Latin America, while the U.S. itself will find it difficult to extricate itself from the situation.’”
