The Coalition of the Willing has “made yet another proposal that pushes Europe closer to a direct confrontation with Russia,” assesses Foreign Minister of Hungary Peter Szijjarto. “By seeking to establish a military presence in Ukraine, Western European countries are creating the risk of a direct war with Russia.”
“Hungary will stay out of this,” he continued in his X post. “We support peace talks, including negotiations at the highest level between the US and Russia, and firmly reject this latest move towards war.”
