Senior German Christian Democrat: We Have To Talk To the Russians

The chairman of the foreign relations committee in the Bundestag, Armin Laschet (Christian Democrat), said on the German television’s Maybrit Illner Show that the European Commission has failed to play a role in the Ukraine negotiations, by refusing to have a dialogue with Russia. This has to change: “We must also talk to Russia again, otherwise we will be dependent on American businessmen like Steve Witkoff in the Ukraine negotiations.”
