Ukraine’s Denys Prokopenko, Commander of the present incarnation of the infamous “Azov” gang, posted a threat that, should Russian Gen. Vladimir Alekseyev survive the assassination attempt, nevertheless retribution will be exacted against him. Prokopenko joined the original (2014) Azov Brigade, was a leader of the (2022) Azov stand at Mariupol, the commander of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov,” and now the commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard “Azov.”
His present threat against Alekseyev is not his first outspoken literary effort. The graduate of Kiev’s “White Boys Club” (noted for Waffen-SS insignia and coded Nazi items), who bore a Nazi Totenkopf (skull-and-crossbones) insignia on his Azov Brigade uniform, had no problem explaining how there are no neo-Nazis in Ukraine in any Azov formation. Now, within hours of the shooting of Alekseyev, he posted:
“Lieutenant-General Vladimir Alexeyev... who was shot this morning in Moscow, was the senior Russian representative at the negotiations in Mariupol in May 2022 during the exit of the Mariupol garrison from Azovstal... The word of the officer, a native of Vinnytsia, a traitor of his homeland, turned out to be worth nothing. Regular torture of prisoners, lack of medical care and hunger for confirmation.”
