Gallup Will Stop Measuring Presidential Approval

The Gallup polling agency confirmed on Feb. 11 that it will end its 88-year practice of tracking public opinion of the president’s job performance. Gallup said this reflects “a broader, ongoing effort to align all of Gallup’s public work with its mission.” Because there are so many other similar polls, Gallup no longer provides something unique.
