Netanyahu's Israel Impedes Gaza Aid by 50%, Sabotages Health Infrastructure

The United Nations stated on Feb. 16 that Israel has denied or impeded nearly half of the coordinated humanitarian aid movements inside Gaza during a good part of February. This, despite the declaration of a ceasefire on Oct. 10, 2025, and U.S. President Donald Trump’s official launch of the Board of Peace on Jan. 22, 2026, during a signing ceremony at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, all of which operations were supposed to make the aid distribution process seamless and almost automatic.

Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, warned during a Feb. 16 press conference that “shipments from Jordan are restricted to a route that requires multiple offloading and reloading points.” He added, “Of nearly 50 such movements coordinated between Feb. 6 and 11, just over half were fully facilitated.” Among the 50 movements, 5 were denied outright, and another 11 were “approved,” but encountered delays.

Israeli IDF and allied forces have killed at least 601 Gazan Palestinians and wounded 1,607 since the October 10 “ceasefire,” the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
