Switzerland’s Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, who traveled to Moscow last week for talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, said that he is “cautiously optimistic” ahead of talks among the U.S, Russia, and Ukraine. The talks are scheduled to take place over Feb. 17-18 in Geneva, Switzerland. “After these talks [in Moscow], I got the impression that Russia really wants to take a step toward peace. The question is not whether it wants this, but at what price,” Cassis said in an interview with the SRF television channel, reported TASS.
