The An-Najah_National_University in the West Bank was surrounded this morning by the Israeli army. They have set up checkpoints to monitor people going in and out. The only explanation they gave was that they were going to attack a house nearby, but they did not specify anything else.
The University has 22,000 students and 300 professors in 19 faculties, with a significant number of visiting professors, exchange scholars, and Palestinian faculty who studied and have ties abroad.
