The unity of the Churches of the East and West, driven by the highest religious authority, can awaken global consciousness and show that God’s will—whatever name each people may give it—is life and not death, peace and not destruction.”
The Observatory condemns the war in the Persian Gulf, where “foreign powers, driven by geostrategic interests that have nothing to do with the peoples of the region, are once again tightening the strings of a conflict whose consequences will be paid for, once again, with innocent blood, forced displacement, and the destruction of national sovereignties….
