Belgian PM: 'EU Must Negotiate With Russia to End Ukraine War'

In an interview with Belgian newspaper L’Echo on March 14, Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever called on the EU to “make a deal” with Russia to both bring an end to the war in Ukraine, and to “regain access to cheap energy,” reported Euro News.

Currently, the EU is split regarding Russia—France, Italy and Hungary are in favor of negotiations with Russia, while Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are opposed.
