“Bored of War”, Indonesia’s President Prabowo said his country “will quit Trump’s Board of Peace” if it “does not benefit Palestinians,” Reuters reports.
Indonesia was one of the nations that accepted (non-paying) membership on Trump’s “Board of Peace.” On Nov. 17, 2025, 13 of the 15 members of the UN Security Council (with China and Russia abstaining) adopted Resolution 2803 which outsourced the governance and future of Gaza to Donald Trump’s “Board of Peace” (BoP), a private entity chose “charter” wasn’t even published at that time.
As of 2026, only 25 of the 62 countries invited by Trump have signed the board’s charter, which gives emperor-like power in perpetuity to Donald Trump.
On Jan. 22, 2026, the BoP was officially established on the sidelines of the WEF of Davos, Switzerland, where Trump announced, in front of the presidents of those nations assembled (Milei from Argentina, Orban from Hungary, and Probawo from Indonesia), that he was preparing to go for a war with Iran. No protests from anybody!
But the Iran war might be “a bridge too far.” Reuters: “Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono said on Tuesday that all discussions about the Board of Peace, which will oversee the creation of the stabilization force, had been halted due to the Iran war.”
