Candidate Sare Calls on American Citizens to Demand Congress Stop Iran War

March 1, 2026—Independent candidate for U.S. President, Diane Sare, has issued a campaign statement today in the wake of “President Trump’s illegal war of aggression against Iran.” Titled “No More Posturing: Congress Must Uphold the Constitution and Make It Stick,” Sare urges her fellow Americans to call their Congressional representatives “and demand to know whether they will take action to stop this war, which is already engulfing the region.” Flood them with calls, email them and visit their offices to tell them to vote yes on H Con Res 38, “Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from unauthorized hostilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” or its companion bill in the Senate, she recommended.

“Once you have done that, I would ask you to pause for a moment and consider how the United States of America lost its way and is now threatening to unleash Armageddon and what you, the American citizen, can do about it,” she writes. “Holding our Representatives accountable is a large part of it, and it is the remedy under our U.S. Constitution, which, given our current literacy rates, sadly, the majority of the American people would have difficulty understanding. We must change that.

“This is why I have declared my candidacy, unencumbered by any major party affiliation, for the presidency of the United States of America, and why I must call upon you now to lead your friends and neighbors if our nation, and perhaps the planet, are going to survive.”

What follows, is provocative. Sare proposes that to understand how the U.S. got to where it is today, it is necessary to go back to the warning made by then-presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche on Sept. 11, 2001 at the moment the first plane hit the World Trade Center towers, that no foreign power could carry out such an attack except through the support of “some rogue element operating within our military-security establishment.”

Sare charges that the “rogue element” cited by LaRouche has been “revealed in the recently released Epstein files…. We have a class of billionaire Anglo-Zionist elites who take pleasure in violating the laws of the universe, including erupting in orgiastic pleasure if they can impose suffering on other human beings, especially those too weak to defend themselves. For those of you too young to remember, look up the recordings from the Enron executives as they spiked California energy prices, screaming, `We’re gonna f* granny up the a*!’ And there you have the mentality of the Wall Street and City of London War Party today.

“If we, the American people, continue to allow that crowd to dictate our policy, we are doomed.”

She concludes with a challenge: “The Iran war must end. The Epstein class must be held accountable, and Lyndon LaRouche must be fully exonerated. It is up to `we the people’ to make that happen. I will not let this go. Will you join me?”
