Dimitris Konstantakopoulos, former Advisor of Greek Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou on Arms Control and East-West Relations, has written a lengthy article for “Defend Democracy Press,” the website of the Delphi Initiative, entitled “Beijing to Tel Aviv and Washington: ‘Israel Will Cease To Exist the Moment It Uses a Nuclear Weapon!’”
In the article he writes that he is presenting the reasons why a nuclear war in the Middle East is “now quite possible” and how the “deterrent intervention of China” interrupted a period of “dangerous tolerance of Israel by the great powers.”
After a few paragraphs on the history of various wars starting with Iraq in 2003, the author writes: “Both we and some other authoritative international observers have pointed out the risk that the Zionist regime and/or the U.S. … might use the nuclear weapons they possess to destroy Iran” and cites, among others, the March 2 Schiller Institute conference, with a link to the proceedings.
