Dangote Refinery Filling African Fuel Void From Trump's Illegal War

The countries of Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Ghana, Togo, and even (relatively distant) Tanzania will soon be benefiting from low-priced petroleum from the Dangote Refinery in Nigeria, replacing valuable fuel that is now being blocked as a result of the Israeli-American assault on Iran.

According to a Sunday release by Dangote Refinery covered by the Premium Times, the company shipped 12 “cargoes” of fuel, totalling more than 3 million barrels (rough calculation). This comes after the announcement in February that the refinery had reached its full capacity of 640,000 bpd petroleum output, allowing it to reach this “significant export milestone,” according to the paper.
