The Hungarian government announced the suspension of the transit across its territory of supplies of gasoline, diesel fuel, and other cargo to Ukraine in retaliation for latter’s blocking the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline by Kiev. “We have stopped gasoline deliveries to Ukraine, we are not delivering diesel either, we are still delivering electricity, and we will also stop things passing through Hungary, things that are important to Ukraine, until we receive Ukraine’s approval for oil deliveries,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told state radio.
“We will also suspend supplies of cargo essential to Ukraine through Hungary until it agrees to resume oil supplies,” he said on the Kossuth radio station.
