Iran’s ambassador to Mexico, Abolfazl Pasandideh, called on President Claudia Sheinbaum’s government Thursday to formally condemn U.S. strikes on Tehran, warning that an American victory could embolden Washington to move against other countries in the hemisphere. “If the US wins something in Iran, it will not be difficult for them to try to win in Cuba or even in Mexico,” he said in an interview with journalist Ciro Gómez Leyva, El Financiero reports.
