The Jerusalem Post proudly reports that an Israeli bomb had targeted a large number of Clerics in Qom, at the center for the 88-member “Assembly of Experts” while they were negotiating and voting on who would replace Ayatollah Khamanei. Iran posted pictures of the destroyed building, but claims it was empty at the time of the attack.
Israel also bombed a building in Tehran overnight which was used by the Assembly of Experts. This building was also empty according to Iran sources.
