Palantir’s Maven Smart System is going to become the Pentagon’s “program of record” for targetting. According to Reuters on March 21, Deputy Secretary of Defense Steve Feinberg has announced this in a memo. In the March 9 letter to senior Pentagon leaders and U.S. military commanders, Feinberg said that embedding Palantir’s Maven Smart System would provide warfighters “with the latest tools necessary to detect, deter, and dominate our adversaries in all domains.” Assumedly, if they refuse to be dominated, they would be destroyed.
