Rubio Says It’s 'Regime Change' for Cuba; Trump Says U.S. Military Will Take Care of It

Asked on March 27 if U.S. President Donald Trump was considering reaching an economic “deal” with the Cuban government instead of the full regime change that Rubio has been pushing for decades, the usually tight-lipped “Little Marco,” President Trump’s Secretary of State, National Security Advisor and State Department Archivist all wrapped into one, spewed venom.

“No, no, no, no, no…. I’m just warning you guys, all these sources that are pitching you on Cuba don’t know jack. OK? They’re not in the mix. I promise you, they don’t know what the hell is happening,” he shot back.

Pressed further by reporters in his post-G7 press conference in France, “Do you still want regime change or…” Rubio interrupted: “Yes,” followed by a rant about how no one will invest the billions of dollars Cuba requires “in a communist country run by incompetent communists”; the “system of government” has to change, etc.
