The death toll from U.S.-Israeli aggression is in the hundreds and thousands, irreparable damage is being caused to civilian infrastructure, neighboring countries are suffering from Iranian retaliatory strikes, and shipping on the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for the global economy, has been paralyzed.”
The statement also called on all parties to immediately cease hostilities and transfer the situation to a political and diplomatic channel. “And above all, we must refrain from attacks on civilian objects and infrastructure, and stop the death and suffering of civilians—both in the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf and in Iran. As before, we are ready, taking into account the Russian Federation’s existing capabilities, to facilitate a long-term and sustainable resolution to the conflict.”
