Sacks Warns of Nuclear Risk, Calls for Off-Ramp

David Sacks, Trump’s AI czar and a prominent voice in Silicon Valley and private equity circles, used his “All In” podcast to publicly urge the administration to seek an exit from the U.S.-Israel war on Iran, Haaretz reports. “This is a good time to declare victory and get out,” Sacks said, echoing language the president himself has used in calling the operation an “excursion” that has already met its goals.

Sacks broke with hawks like Sen. Lindsey Graham, who are pushing to expand strikes to Iranian energy infrastructure, and issued a stark warning about the war’s trajectory: “If this war continues for weeks or months, then Israel could just be destroyed.” He also raised the specter of Israel “escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon, which would truly be catastrophic.” Sacks argues that a ceasefire or negotiated settlement with Iran was the only responsible alternative.
