President Donald Trump’s five-day pause on bombing in Iran only applies to the order to destroy’s Iran’s power grid that he announced in his 48-hour ultimatum of Saturday night. US strikes on Iran will continue during what he has called “productive” talks with Iranian leaders, Semafor reported late yesterday.
“The stop on attacks for five days is only on their energy sites,” an unnamed US official told Semafor. “It is not on the military sites and the navy, and the ballistic missiles, and the defense industrial base. The initial initiatives of [Operation] Epic Fury will continue.”
