Travesty! King Charles Invited for State Visit to U.S. in Its 250th Anniversary Year

CBS News reports this morning that Buckingham Palace and President Donald Trump announced today that King Charles III will make a state visit to the U.S. April 27–30th. Both the announcement by Buckingham Palace and President Trump specifically note that Charles’s visit, his first state visit as King, is to take place during the year of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, carefully censoring that our independence was gained by defeating the very British empire which Charles today heads.

The King’s visit “will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, marking the 250th anniversary “of American Independence,” the Buckingham Palace announcement declared.
