President Trump apparently still does not understand why Iran hasn’t capitulated to his demands despite more than two weeks of bombing and it’s seems to be taking mental toll on him.
Trump claimed in an interview with NBC News on Saturday that US strikes “totally demolished” much of the Kharg Island oil export hub and warned of more attacks on the island. “We may hit it a few more times just for fun,” he said, reported Al Jazeera.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi blasted Trump’s comments. Yesterday, he told CBS’ Face the Nation: “This is an illegal war with no victory. There are people being killed only because President Trump wants to have ‘fun’. This is what he has said.”
