Zepp-LaRouche Asks Patrick Henningsen What He Saw in Iran

Helga Zepp-LaRouche interviewed podcaster and international journalist Patrick Henningsen on March 9. Shortly before the start of the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran Feb. 28, Henningsen had visited Iran. Asked about what he found there by Zepp-LaRouche, but before he answered that question, Henningsen said that wanted to explain what he sees is happening now. “The U.S. has engaged in a type of “shock and awe campaign” against Iran. Yet, despite the U.S. assault, it is losing aircraft and its military bases are being impacted, “losing billions of dollars” in military investments, for example “radar.”

Zepp-LaRouche asked him about Trump’s Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent who bragged about the “economic statecraft” he directed at Iran to cause undue economic hardship on the Iranian economy. Henningsen replied, “this is a long-standing policy of the U.S.” Attacking a country’s currency, thereby causing a “run on its currency.”
