Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington D.C., very much in sync with the Pope Leo’s peace initiative, yesterday gave an unequivocal condemnation of the Iran war as unjust and immoral. His homily was given at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, in a peace vigil accompanying the one earlier in the day in Rome by the Pope. Here’s the full text.
