Interviewed by the UK’s GB News on April 24, former MI6 chief “Sir” Richard Dearlove insisted that U.S. “negotiations” with Iran were merely a different stage of the U.S.-Israeli intent to destroy Iran’s economy and militarily overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran—a policy he has vigorously promoted for decades. He expects the “kinetic” war to begin again shortly.
“I don’t think the military objectives have changed,” he responded, when asked about the failure of the negotiations to start up again in Pakistan. “You can look at the current situation as a continuation of conflict through negotiation. It’s just an aspect of the war which is not kinetic. And my expectation still is that the Americans and Israelis want to bring down the Iranian regime, and they’re going to press very hard to do that.”
