U.S. President Donald Trump achieved new lows on Sunday, April 5, when he posted the following message on Truth Social: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell—JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
Also on Sunday, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst reported on a conversation he had with Trump earlier that day. Trump reportedly said: “If they [Iran] don’t make a deal, and fast, I’m considering BLOWING EVERYTHING UP and taking over the oil.” Asked about the possibility of an agreement with Iran, he said without explaining: “I think there’s a good chance tomorrow. They’re negotiating now.”
