Brazilian Editor Welcomes Potential for China-U.S. Cooperation

“The world woke up better today: China and the US must be partners, not rivals,” Leonardo Attuch, founder and CEO of Brazil’s Brasil247 news site, headlined his opinion column on the just concluded Trump-Xi summit today, published in today’s China’s Global Times Brasil247 is one of Brazil’s most-read alternative media sites.

Noting the importance of both China and the U.S. to Brazil, he stressed that “Brazil does not benefit from a divided world forced into geopolitical camps. Nor do most nations in Latin America, Africa or Asia.
