On May 10th, longtime LaRouche hater and former National Director of the Anti-Defamation League Abe Foxman passed away.
In 1989, when then-presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche was sentenced to an outrageous 15-year jail sentence on fraudulent charges by a crooked Alexandria, Virginia court, Abe Foxman said: “The sentencing sends a strong message that this anti-Semitic extremist cult leader cannot use his ‘political’ activities as a shield for criminal wrongdoing on a nationwide scale.…This case was not about politics; it was about crime. It was about defrauding the elderly of their savings and spending lavishly to maintain a high lifestyle.”
In 1986, the same year that LaRouche candidates won major Democratic primary elections in Illinois and elsewhere, the ADL had published a 54-page report about Lyndon LaRouche entitled “The LaRouche Political Cult: Packaging Extremism: A Case Study.”
A recent FOIA request has revealed that actually the ADL and FBI were targeting LaRouche’s Fusion Energy Foundation as early as shortly after it was founded in 1974.
