NATO countries are practicing scenarios for launching strikes against the Union State of Russia and Belarus during exercises, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Sergey Shoigu said on May 26, reported TASS.
“During numerous military exercises, with almost seven of them taking place simultaneously as you reported today, NATO armed forces are practicing scenarios for launching strikes against the Union States,” he said at a meeting with State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Alexander Volfovich. Western countries are making no secret of their aggressive plans against Russia and Belarus, Shoigu noted, adding that Nazi ideology is rapidly resurfacing in many European countries, with the history of World War II being actively rewritten.
At least three NATO exercises are underway this week that fit Shoigu’s description. They are:
